Get Set Go Pawna homepage hero with the headline “Pawna Lake Camping Near Pune”, four reassurance points, Book Now and Call Now buttons, and three photos of lakeside tents.
Homepage hero. What it is, where it is, and why to trust it — with booking and calling one tap away.

The need

The goal was to answer a camper’s deciding questions — what’s included, how much, how far, is it safe — within the first few screens, on phone or desktop, and make booking take one tap.

Key workflows

  1. 01Understand the offer from the first screen: lakeside tents and cottages, two hours from Pune.
  2. 02Compare three packages side by side, with prices and inclusions.
  3. 03Book by call, WhatsApp, or an enquiry form.
  4. 04Plan the trip around nearby forts, caves, and viewpoints, each with distance and travel time.
  5. 05Check the overnight schedule and find the camp on a map.

Design decisions

Two ways to book, above the fold
“Book Now” and “Call Now” sit together in the hero, joined by an “or”, because many visitors would rather call or message than fill in a form.
Packages you can compare at a glance
Three price cards share the same structure — price per person, who it suits, then a checklist of inclusions in the same order — so differences stand out.
Answer the doubts early
Short reassurance points under the headline cover distance, safety, location, and WhatsApp booking before visitors scroll.
Sell the area, not just the camp
A grid of eight nearby destinations, each with distance and travel time, helps visitors picture a full weekend around their stay.

Engineering decisions and tradeoffs

WordPress and Elementor for easy updates
Prices, packages, photos, and text can be changed in the WordPress editor without touching code.
A travel theme as the base
The RouteHaven theme and WP Travel Engine provide destination and trip structures out of the box. The tradeoff is less control over markup and page weight than a custom build, in exchange for a much faster launch.
Lightweight enquiry handling
Contact Form 7 handles enquiries, while call and WhatsApp links cover visitors who prefer to talk.

Screens

Get Set Go Pawna on a phone: logo, menu, headline, reassurance points, large Book Now and Call Now buttons, and tent photos.
On a phone. The headline, reassurance points, and both booking buttons fit on the first screen.
Three package cards — Super Deluxe Tent Camping at ₹999, Deluxe Triangle Cottage at ₹1499, and Executive Lake View Cottage at ₹1799 per person — each with an inclusions checklist and a booking button.
Packages. Three tiers with the same structure, so price and inclusions are easy to compare, each ending in its own booking button.
Nearby Destinations grid of eight places, including Tung Fort, Tikona Fort, Lohagad Fort, and Karla Caves, each with a round photo, distance, and travel time.
Nearby destinations. Eight places with distance and travel time, each linking to its own short guide.
